A Bagad is an orchestra consisting principally of three instruments, the scottish bagpipe, the breton bombarde and any dash of percussions. This type of ensemble started developing in Brittany just after the second World War, and has continued to develop until today.
Breton music is only one pan of a wider culture which include language & tradition or oral transmission of singing and dancing.
It is important for us to get those element together and include the music where it bellong : for dancers to enjoy!
